Meet Dr. McNealy
Camp Creative is a fun and creative art camp in west St. Louis county with options for elementary and middle school aged children! Campers get to explore a variety of art mediums and engaging themes and leave camp with a collection of brand new masterpieces for all to admire.
ELEMENTARY CAMP: for campers entering grades 2-5 with full and half-day options available. Each session has a unique theme. Enroll in morning and afternoon sessions for a full-day art camp experience with a 30 minute supervised lunch.
MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMP: for campers entering grades 6-8. This camp is a full-day camp geared towards kids who are really passionate about art and contains more advanced projects and processes. We will break for snack and lunch.
Hello! My name is Colleen McNealy and I am the grown up version of the kid who would have LOVED to attend this camp! I am an elementary school art teacher in the Parkway School District. I have been teaching art here in St. Louis for 20 years with students from grades K-12 in both public and private schools. I have my Bachelor in Fine Arts in printmaking and drawing and Masters of Art in Teaching in art education from Washington University in St. Louis. In 2019, I completed my educational doctorate in teacher leadership from Maryville University. I love getting to work with children to help them discover a love of art and creating. I'm so excited to offer this art camp for the fourth year to provide kids a fun and creative outlet over the summer!
